THE NEKTAR REUNION IS A
REALITY
The reunion show was at
NEARfest
in Trenton, New Jersey on June 29, 2002. The
original members of the band, Roye Albrighton, Mo
Moore, Taff Freeman and Ron Howden, Mick Brockett's
lights and me, plus Michelle and Maureen on
background vocals and Scott on additional
percussion and vocals, were there for a recreation
of the Nektar material from the 1970s, 1980s
(nothing from the 90s) and the newest material from
2001.
Newly remastered CDs, T
shirts and all kinds of Nektar stuff were available
at the show. Don't forget to check out the official
Nektar
web site.
NEARfest
Rehearsals took place during
the Spring of 2002. Some pictures below: Photos
from the final production rehearsals and a few
shots from the NEARfest show are on the

We're still under construction on this
page. We'll have interesting details about the the work that
I did with Nektar real soon. We'll put up some pictures that
I took and publish some facts about the synthesizers and
electronic devices that I used with Nektar on tour and in
the studio.
Please be patient while we're
gathering up a lot more information from the
archives.
Just in case you're interested, this
is what my keyboard rig looked like when I played with
Nektar around early 1977:
Yes, that is the old Mellotron on the
right. This was the only show where I ever used
it.
